Meet the 2022 Taikai Mascot!

This adorable little guy’s name is Kasamaru. He has the honor of being the official mascot of the 7th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival.

He will be busy for the next year or so spreading the word about Taikai 2022 and trying to get Uchinanchu and Uchinanchu-at-heart interested and excited about the festival. Luckily, his friendly and outgoing personality and his love of Okinawa will keep his spirits high for this big, worldwide task.
